Notices are pasted back to front so when removed, the negative space of the tree is left with the notice faces showing. If done on a larger scale it would be as though one has to step into the tree to read the notices or at least put one's whole head inside to read all the notices.

Inspired for new piece on walk home

I cannot get rid of the vision of the tree with the notice pinned all across it - there is something touching in man, during time of crisis, turning to trees for aid.

Something unique about Kypseli is how it is a green and pedestrianized area. When the district was first created, it was done so to be an extremely desirable and affluent area, for this reason there were many trees and fountains inserted into its landscape.

Now, as the place becomes more and more run down, many notices sprout up, a forest of them. I am interested in this tension between the trees and the notices. As forests and as changing points of focus for the local community. I need a background upon which my notices can grow.
