Wide Open School

"In Praise of Sport is a collective project by the community of H. M. Prison Wandsworth, conceived and created by Peter Wayne, a prisoner at Wandsworth for 32 months until his release in June 2012.  Taking a year to complete, In Praise of Sport was inspired by the London 2012 Olympics and involved the input of many prisoners and staff during its creation. The completed product is a unique handmade volume of art, prose and poetry.
 In Praise of Sport will be publically displayed for the first time in the Hayward Gallery Project Space from Friday 29^th June until Sunday 8^th July."
