Wide Open School

"In Praise of Sport is a collective project by the community of H. M. Prison Wandsworth, conceived and created by Peter Wayne, a prisoner at Wandsworth for 32 months until his release in June 2012.  Taking a year to complete, In Praise of Sport was inspired by the London 2012 Olympics and involved the input of many prisoners and staff during its creation. The completed product is a unique handmade volume of art, prose and poetry.
In Praise of Sport will be publically displayed for the first time in the Hayward Gallery Project Space from Friday 29th June until Sunday 8th July."
